In 2009 I started to treat patients in my pharmacy who suffer from type 2 diabetes by writing healthy shopping lists that directed them towards healthier food options.
My very simple cure for type 2 diabetes is to remove all processed carbs, including bread and wheat products for a diet rich in fresh healthy organic food that your body loves.
I would educate my patients that their body is just like a car and to stop putting the wrong fuel into the engine by simply swapping factory made foods for real fresh food that your body was actually designed to digest.

The Renegade Protocol For Type 2 Diabetes
Diet:
Eliminate all processed foods, dairy, wheat, refined carbs and sugar.
Practice intermittent fasting (only drink warm water with fresh lemon juice and ginger on waking)
Enjoy a varied diet of lightly cooked or raw fresh organic food.
Have Green Juice as one of your meals or snacks. (A 3-5 day fast with just green juice can do wonders)
