5 Major Reasons Why You Get Chronic Disease & What You Can Do About It –
From A Reformed Pharmacist Who Healed Himself Without Medication

1. Doing A Job You Hate

At a life transforming seminar by Tony Robbins I learned that job dissatisfaction may be one of the leading causes of heart disease. From my own research the evidence quite clearly states that chronic stress is a primary cause of all chronic diseases and there is nothing more stressful than doing a job you hate!

Most people spend 8 – 10 hrs a day working like machines in factory like conditionsdesk job for big corporations, living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay the bills, with fear from often unempathic bosses who can’t wait to replace you with a cheaper, faster and more efficient version than yourself. Just so they can get paid that bonus, you will never ever see or get. To top it off, you can’t choose who you work with, and often your environment becomes negative and hostile. If you spend most of your day like that you are undoubtedly going to get sick, or do things that lead to sickness as you choose to temporarily relieve the pain of an otherwise soulless existence.

What Can You Do About It?

I can only speak from personal experience, but I decided to work more on myself than on my job. I started to learn everything I could about creating other forms of income. From internet marketing to selling digital and physical products on places like Clickbank and Amazon. When I was sick I spoke to an occupational health advisor who got me some valuable time off so I could focus on my escape plan. It paid off massively. Ive now fired my boss, live a life of endless summers, love my business as it’s based around my passion and am surrounded by and work with my best friends. Your job, career or business becomes who you are if you spend most of your day doing it, so make sure that’s someone you respect and admire if you want to be good to yourself.

2. Feeling Like You Don’t Fit In Or Have Little Or No Significance

Several years ago I read an amazing book by Dr Malcolm Kendrick about the true causes of heart disease. He found those immigrants who came from ethnic backgrounds such as Africans and Indians were more prone to heart attacks and early onset of heart disease.

He found that social dislocation from the social environment they are more used to back in their native countries leads to emotional stress from a feeling of not belonging. I felt this myself as a pharmacist often working around people I had very little in common with for long periods of time.

After discovering the research of Robert Sapolsky, who has spent the past 37 years studying wild baboons on the plains of East Africa, I began to make some astonishing discoveries about the true wild baboonsnature of disease.

In his studies, Sapolsky found many of the baboons were suffering from increased heart rates, high blood pressure and elevated stress hormones.

This posed an interesting question…

If the baboons were living in their ideal environment and eating their ideal natural diet, then what could be causing them to suffer from these same health related problems as modern humans?

Intrigued by this finding Sapolsky further observed the baboons to have an intricate hierarchical social structure, just like modern humans. Those at the top of the social ladder were the most dominant alpha males, those at the bottom were the inferior subordinates.

Within this hierarchy the alpha males would assert their dominance over the lower subordinates through physical violence and bullying. This behaviour, it appears, is common across all primate species, including humans.

Sapolsky’s studies then revealed those at the bottom of social hierarchy were the ones with the highest blood pressure, increased heart rates and elevated levels of stress hormones.

Even though the wild baboons were living in what we would consider a natural way, in harmony with nature, they were still suffering from what we call ‘stress’.

And this stress was killing the ones at the bottom of the social ladder faster than the ones at the top.

What Can You Do About It?

We absorb so much energy from our surroundings, good and bad. Finding a new community online of like minded people through Youtube, Facebook and Meetup I believe changed my life for the good, it can for you too!

If you are sick from a chronic illness like I had you can get time off work and can claim some benefitsfriends to help you manage the bills, then use this precious time to really plan out the dream life that you always wanted. Speak to an occupational health advisor. My one was brilliant and my place of work gave me a lot of extra support and time off because of her recommendations.

I used that time to build my own online businesses so that I did not have to go back to work, and you can do something similar with your time too, if you use it wisely! Being able to work from home is a godsend, and also means I don’t have to go back to that horrible negative environment!
If your job really sucks, now is the time to do something about it. If you are being bullied in a relationship of if your relationship is emotionally traumatic, get some help fast and fix it, or end or take a break from the relationship for the sake of your health.

5. Breathing The Wrong Way

How you breathe is one of the few things you have conscious control over, and learning to be consciously in control of your breathing can help you to change the deepest parts of your physiology.

There is an ancient Indian breathing technique known as Pranayama, which literally translates as “extension of the life force”.

When you begin to practice the discipline of deep controlled breathing you begin to start the healing process, extending your own lifeforce.

This form of deep breathing signals to your body it is time to heal and it also allows you to be more in control. Breath is where healing begins.

How To ‘Extend Your Life Force’ In The Next 30 Seconds

Lets do a simple exercise right now.

Put your right hand on your chest, and your left hand on your belly.

Now inhale…

Which hand rose first?

If it was your right hand, you are one of the majority of people who shallow breathe. This means you happinessare only using around 30% of your total lung capacity of oxygen.

If it was your left, give yourself a pat on the back, as this means you are filling your entire lung capacity for oxygen.

Oxygen happens to be one of the most vital ingredients necessary to keep us alive.

In fact many modern advances in treating chronic diseases like cancer involve treatments using oxygen rich supplements or hyperbaric oxygen chambers.

Did you know that you can instantly turn off stress with your breath by breathing out for longer than you breathe in.

Do this deep breathing routine after you eat to help digest your food better and when you are feeling stressed or anxious as a quick and easy way to relax.

Breathe in for 4 seconds
Breathe out for 6-8 seconds
Hold your breathe out for 2 – 4 seconds

Then repeat.

But just by changing the way you breathe right now is a free and simple, fast and effective way to transform your wellness.
